New Polling Shows Trump Appealing To Younger Voters

A poll released on Friday shows that former President Donald Trump is ahead of President Joe Biden in the electorate and is gaining ground with younger voters heading into the 2024 election.

A poll released on Friday shows that former President Donald Trump is ahead of President Joe Biden in the electorate and is gaining ground with younger voters heading into the 2024 election.

According to an Emerson College survey, Trump is leading Biden by 2 points among voters between the ages of 18 and 29 and by 11 points among those between the ages of 30 and 39.

Nationally, Trump leads Biden in their head-to-head comparison 47% to 45%, with 8% of voters still undecided.

Additionally, the poll indicates that Trump is leading the crowded GOP primary field by a margin of over fifty points, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley tied at eight percent.

Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey, received 4% of the vote, while conservative businessman Vivek Ramaswamy and former vice president Mike Pence tied with 3% each.

Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina received 1.4% of the vote, Michigan businessman Perry Johnson received 1.2%, and conservative radio host Larry Elder received 1%.

According to the poll, Biden is leading the small Democratic primary field with 70% of the vote, self-help author Marianne Williamson received 10%, and 20% of respondents were undecided.

Recently, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. changed the party affiliation of his presidential campaign from Democratic to Independent, and according to certain polls, this could cost Biden and Trump votes in 2024.

Recent polls show that in the crucial battleground states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, North Carolina, Georgia, and Arizona, Trump leads Biden.

According to the most recent polling from RealClearPolitics, the average for a national Republican and Democratic primary in 2024 indicates that Trump and Biden are leading their respective fields with 59% and 61.3%, respectively.

With a margin of error of plus or minus 2.4%, 1,578 registered voters nationwide were surveyed for the Emerson College poll between October 16 and October 17.
