PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A 38-year-old New York man was killed when crossing Ulmerton Road on Saturday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
According to troopers, a car was traveling northbound on 34th Street North.
At Ulmerton Road, the car turned left and collided with a pedestrian walking southbound across the highway, west of 34th Street North.

Troopers say the man was transported to an area hospital but later died from injuries suffered in the crash.
