Nominations are now open for American Farm Bureau’s Farm Dog of the Year Contest. The contest honors farm dogs for their loyalty and support to farmers and ranchers working to produce our nation’s food supply. The  2023 Farm Bureau Farm Dog of the Year contest is in its 5th year and is sponsored by Purina.

The grand-prize winner will hold the title of Farm Bureau Farm Dog of the Year and will win a year’s worth of Purina dog food and $5,000 in prize money. The winner will be recognized during the American Farm Bureau Federation Convention in January 2023 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In addition to the grand-prize winner, up to four regional runners-up* will each win $1,000 in prize money.

The 2023 Farm Dog of the Year will also be featured in a professionally-produced video.
