NYC Mayor Seeks To House Illegals Shipped From Texas On A Cruise Ship

New York City Mayor Eric Adams apparently wants to do illegals one better.

According to Breitbart News, the Big Apple’s Democratic mayor is in talks to house illegals shipped to his city on a cruise ship.

Nothing is final yet, the mayor insisted.

“When we get in agreement with anyone dealing with all of these issues around the migrant issues, we’re going to make it formal. We’re in conversations,” Adams told reporters on Monday.

“We are going to continue to look at every opportunity to resolve this humanitarian crisis that human beings have created. We’re not at a place to make any announcements but when we are, we’re going to make sure that we give a formal announcement before we do anything and that’s where the negotiation is at this time.”

The “crisis” that Adams decries is about 16,000 illegals who have been shipped to his city by Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott over the past few months.

The cruise ship idea is intended to relieve overcrowding in the homeless shelters in New York, which has proudly declared itself a “sanctuary city.” That means the city would refuse to cooperate with federal authorities in apprehending or deporting illegals.

Norwegian Cruise Line reportedly would supply the ship for Adams.

In Massachusetts, after DeSantis’ planes arrived, it took just 48 hours for residents of the heavily Democratic Martha’s Vineyard, also a sanctuary city, to call in the National Guard and ship the 50 immigrants off to a military base on Cape Cod.

Meanwhile, Breitbart notes that Adams and New York Democrats are demanding $500 million in federal money — or more than $31,000 each — to deal with the illegals it was received so far.
