OCALA, Fla. – An Ocala man has been arrested after a SWAT Team executed a search warrant and the suspect admitted to the allegations.

Detective Ridge, with the Ocala Police Department, arrested Paul Kissner, 35, for 20 counts of possession of child pornography.

On May 18, Ocala Police Detective Ridge received multiple tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that numerous files containing child pornography were being shared through apps associated with Kissner’s accounts and devices.

Investigators say by using additional information from the tips, Det. Ridge was able to locate Kissner at his mother's house and established probable cause to search the residence.

Investigators say by using additional information from the tips, Det. Ridge was able to locate Kissner at his mother’s house and established probable cause to search the residence.

On June 1, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the SWAT team responded to the home and made announcements for anyone inside to exit for a search warrant.

Once the house was secured and everyone was out, Det. Ridge began to interview Kissner.

Investigators say at first, Kissner became mildly defensive and denied having any child pornography, but when he was told that detectives were going to search through all electronic devices in the home for evidence of child pornography, he then admitted to the allegations.

Kissner told investigators that they would find over a hundred videos of child pornography on a phone next to his bed.

While searching the home, several devices were located including cellphones, tablets, computers, and flash drives.

Investigators say the devices were given to Digital Forensics Technician Newbanks to conduct a forensic extraction of the items.

An extraction of Kissner’s phone found numerous files of child pornography.

He was arrested and booked into the Marion County Jail.
