One Firefighter Suffers Minor Injuries In Tampa 2-Story Fire

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Fire Rescue (TFR) responded to a reported structure fire at the 10000 block of N. Pawnee Ave. at 3:40 pm on Saturday.

The first arriving engine found a two-story structure with moderate smoke coming from the roof of the house. A primary and secondary search was completed with no occupants in the structure.

Firefighters offensively attacked the fire, which was under control within 15 minutes. No civilian injuries were reported at the scene, officials say.

One firefighter was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

TFR fire investigator was on scene, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
