The southbound lanes of I-75 in Sumter County have reopened following an injury crash involving 2 tractor-trailers near MM313.
The crash happened around 8:48 a.m. Friday, according to FHP.
Troopers say a semi-truck driven by a 65-year-old man from Summerfield, Florida, partially entered the outside line and hit the left rear of another truck driven by a 23-year-old from Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Investigators say the semi-truck then jackknifed across a couple of lanes, while the other truck came to a stop in the median.
The Florida man was airlifted with serious injuries, according to FHP. The Virginia man suffered only minor injuries in the crash.
All lanes reopened around 11:00 am on Friday.
