PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco Sheriff’s deputies are currently investigating a shooting that claimed the life of one adult male.
According to deputies, on Thursday, around 9:05 p.m., PSO responded to a call about a shooting in the Old Orchard Ln. area of Port Richey.
Investigators say that an argument between two adult men, who are known to each other, escalated, and one man shot the other, which resulted in death.

The shooter is currently detained, deputies say.
“This is an isolated incident amongst known parties, and there is no public safety threat, as all parties are accounted for,” said PSO.
The investigation is ongoing; no additional information is available at this time.
