CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol has released some information in a tragic accident that happened in Hernando City, Citrus County on Thursday Afternoon.
A 49-year-old woman was backing up in the parking lot at 2211 East Norvell Bryant Highway. Her 1-year-old grandson somehow ended up behind the pickup truck and struck while the grandmother was in reverse.
The child was transported to the hospital, but later died from injuries sustained.
