Governor Ron DeSantis delivers true, unwavering leadership for the people of Florida every single day. A native of Dunedin, our Governor knows what Florida families need and does what’s right for our communities.
Whether it be keeping our kids in school, standing up for parents, protecting our pocketbooks, or preserving our environment, Governor DeSantis knows what it takes to be a leader and defend our beautiful state.
There is no other Governor in the country who has put the concerns and needs of his people ahead of corrupt Washington bureaucrats. While there is a record of one failure after another coming out of democrat-run states and the Biden administration, Governor DeSantis has led every step of the way.
Just take a look at how Florida handled COVID and compare it to other states. If we lived in a Democrat-run state, our kids would have been locked out of school for a year or more, we would be unable to go to church, businesses would be destroyed and we would have to show vaccine passports to eat at a restaurant.
The senseless damage that Democrat politicians inflicted on our children and our economy during the pandemic is unforgivable and will have long-term consequences for many years to come.
Our Governor had the good sense and strong leadership to stand by our students and made sure that Florida’s families were supported when others wanted to lock our kids out of school and shutter our businesses.
He didn’t blindly follow what other states did, but acted with original thought and purposeful intention to assure Florida families were a priority. He continues to allow businesses to thrive and prosper, protects the rights of students and parents, supports the men and women of law enforcement, and preserves Florida’s environment and vast natural resources.
As a mother of three children living in Hillsborough County, I am so proud to support our amazing Governor and to be a part of the new Mamas for DeSantis Movement led by First Lady Casey DeSantis. The First Lady has also made it a priority in her work to put Florida’s families first.
Her initiatives to raise awareness about mental illness in sports, empower students with the facts about the negative effects of substance abuse, and help single mothers in Florida are so important, and her work does not go unnoticed. That’s why I am so proud to support her in the Mamas for DeSantis initiative, which only further exemplifies the Governor’s commitment to securing the rights of parents across Florida.
Florida mamas are resilient and steadfast. We will do whatever it takes to protect our family and ensure our kids have a bright future. I know that Governor DeSantis will stand in the way of any threats to Florida’s families, and I am proud to support him as he runs for re-election.
