Pasco County Drinking Water Well water shut down

Pasco County Boil Water Notice Lifted for Mirada Community

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco County Utilities is rescinding the precautionary boil water notice for all customers near Setter Palm Road in the Mirada Subdivision.

Testing following a water main break has verified the water is safe for drinking and cooking.

Pasco County Utilities issued a Precautionary Boil Water Notice for approximately 700 customers near Setter Palm Road in the Mirada Subdivision, just south of S.R. 52 and east of I-75.

The water system in that area lost pressure when an independent contractor hit a water main. As a precautionary measure, all water used for drinking or cooking had to be boiled for at least one minute.
