ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – On October 17, 2020, just before 1 p.m., a shooting occurred at Samuel Pasco Athletic Park located at 39835 Chancey Road in Zephyrhills.
The victim, identified as Carl Branch, 32 years old, from the Ft. Myers area, was shot and killed in the parking lot by unknown suspect(s).
The shooting happened while a children’s football tournament was occurring. Detectives believe the suspect(s), who were described as black males, may also be from the Ft. Myers area.
The suspect(s) were traveling in a 4-door Nissan sedan, white in color, with damage to the driver’s side quarter panel, which is painted a primer color.
