Pasco County To Provide East Side Cold Weather Sheltering

PASCO COUNTY, FL. – As extremely cold air moves into our area, Pasco County is coordinating with the Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County to provide Cold Weather Sheltering on the east side of the county Saturday, March 12, 2022, for anyone needing a warm place to spend the night.

To make sheltering arrangements, you must call the following number by 8 p.m. Saturday:

Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County / (727) 842-8605, Ext. 6.

The low temperatures and wind chills expected Saturday night into Sunday morning could be dangerous to anyone who will be outside for long periods of time.

Children, the elderly, and pets are especially vulnerable to the cold, and extra care should be taken to protect them.
