NEW PORT RICHEY, FL. – Pasco Sheriff’s detectives are currently investigating a shooting that happened on Wednesday at around 6:00 a.m., in the area of Winding Brook Dr., New Port Richey.
Investigators say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Pasco Sheriff’s detectives are currently attempting to locate Caleb Wyche, a 22-year-old black male, for questioning in connection with this incident.
Wyche was last seen in the Winding Brooke Dr. area of New Port Richey at approx. 6:40 a.m.. Wyche is described as being 5’08” – 6’00” in height, with black hair and brown eyes.
Wyche was last seen wearing a gray sweater, black pants, white shoes and a white face mask. Wyche is believed to be traveling in a stolen white Hyundai Tucson SUV with license plate number ETNL13.
At this time, no additional information is available, but anyone with information on this incident should call 911 immediately.
