Pasco Sheriff Deputy Takes a Dangerous Situation and Ends It Peacefully -Zephyrhills

PASCO COUNTY, Fla.- Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a hotel in Zephyrhills after receiving information that a suspect wanted for a home invasion robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and other charges was at the location.

As deputies responded, including Deputy Carmack and K9 Shep, the suspect was located in his vehicle in the parking lot and, as deputies approached, the suspect put a firearm to his head and threatened to kill himself.
Over the next 45 minutes, Deputy Carmack established a rapport with the suspect and convinced him to put down the firearm and exit the vehicle peacefully.

Thanks to the good work of all involved, this very dangerous situation was peacefully resolved with no injuries.
