PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – On Saturday, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office Maritime Operations Detachment responded to a report of a capsized boat approximately 15 miles off the coast.
Cpl. Bollenbacher was able to rescue all five individuals from the overturned boat and return them safely to shore.
This incident also serves as a reminder of the importance of having proper life jackets for all occupants, as well as other safety equipment that is in good working condition.
