Pedestrian Killed in Orlando Hit and Run, FHP Seeking Red Jeep

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a Jeep that fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian in Orlando and killing the man.

FHP says a red Jeep Wrangler was traveling westbound on Sand Lake Road near Golden Skye Lane around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The pedestrian was attempting to cross Sand Lake Road. Investigators say the man was not in a crosswalk. FHP says the Red Jeep has heavy front end damage with parts of the grill missing.
