Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office To Host Career Fair On January 30, 2024

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a career fair on January 30, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Administration Building located at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo.

The career fair will highlight the Sherriff’s Office’s current openings for Administrative Assistant, Alternative Sentencing Specialist, Classification Specialist, Communication Center – Public Safety Telecommunicator and Communications Teletype Technician, Court Processing Technician II, Criminal Justice Specialist (Department of Detention and Corrections & Judicial Operations Bureau), Deputy – Detention and Corrections and Law Enforcement, Inmate Property Technician, Inmate Records Specialist, Licensed Practical Nurse, Records Technician II, School Crossing Guard, Safe Harbor Technician, and many more.

Subject matter experts will be on-site to answer questions pertaining to open positions, and members of Human Resources will be available to discuss the full benefits of employment with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Applicants must be able to complete a successful background investigation, which includes:

  • Polygraph examination
  • Nicotine, tobacco, and drug screening, and medical examination
  • Previous employer reference verification and personal reference check
  • Criminal history check and fingerprinting
  • Education verification
  • Credit check (applicable for some positions)
  • Psychological evaluation (applicable for some positions)
