Pinellas Update: Sandbags Available For Unincorporated Pinellas Residents, City Residents Advised To Check With Local Municipalities

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL. – Sandbag distribution locations activated for unincorporated Pinellas residents to prepare for potential flooding from increased rainfall.

Sandbags are only recommended for residents who may experience flooding from rainfall. Sandbags are not recommended for storm surge from the bay or tidal waters.

Sandbag distribution locations open Monday, July 5, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. or until supplies last:

  • John Chesnut Sr. Park: 2200 East Lake Road in Palm Harbor 
  • Walsingham Park: 12615 102nd Ave, Seminole, FL 33778

Sandbags limited to 20 per person – materials will be supplied, shovels available. County Information Center remains open until 10 p.m. Call 727-464-4333. Residents who are deaf or hard of hearing can contact the County Information Center via online chat at www.bit.ly/PinellasChat.
