Polk County Deputies Seeking Suspects That Broke Into Lakeland Car, Used Stolen Credit Cards

LAKELAND, FL. – On January 3rd, at about 1:15 PM, a car was burglarized at a business at 2312 Memorial Boulevard in Lakeland.

Deputies say that someone illegally entered into a vehicle and removed miscellaneous items and cash.

A witness said that the suspect got into a white Audi sedan (with gray spots on the front left fender) and left the area immediately. A white SUV also left at the same time and may have been involved too, according to deputies.

Investigators say about a half-hour later, one of the victim’s bank cards was used at a Walgreen’s store at 5885 Old Polk City Road in Lakeland.

Security video from Walgreens captured two people using the cards. The suspects appear to be a black male and a black female., according to deputies.
