POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a job fair on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the PCSO Sheriff’s Operations Center, 1891 Jim Keene Blvd, Winter Haven.
We’re currently offering $1,000 sign-on bonuses for civilian Detention Support Specialists, with a starting pay of $34,986.

Human Resources representatives will be onsite to process applications and answer questions. All qualified applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment that same day.
“For existing sworn law enforcement officers who wish to transfer, we are offering a hiring bonus, we pay up to $5,000 of out-of-state moving costs, and if the applicant lives in one of the ten neighboring counties he or she can take their agency vehicle home,” said PCSO.
