TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is investigating a fatal crash at E. Busch Blvd & N. 50th St. that happened around 8:26 am on Sunday.
According to investigators, officers responded to the scene of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash and located an adult male victim.
Police say that lifesaving measures were performed, and the victim was transported to a local hospital but died from injuries suffered in the crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The intersection of E. Busch Blvd & N. 50th St is currently closed in all four directions and is expected to remain closed until approximately 10:30 am. Drivers are asked to find an alternative route.
