PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Due to potential inclement weather, tonight’s K-9 Graduation will be postponed until further notice.
Four K-9s and their partners have completed training and will soon be called for duty, according to Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
Throughout their training, the K-9s learned obedience commands, bite work, area and building searches, tracking, and human odor response.
The four K-9s and their partners from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and Largo Police Department will be recognized with training completion certificates when the event is rescheduled.

This kid-friendly event is free, and the public is welcome to attend the graduation and K-9 demonstration, where they will be highlighting their new skills.
