Leftists won’t have to worry about being exposed to any actual Republican ideas on their favorite cable news channel — even tepid ones such as those espoused by a GOP leader that many on the right may believe is actually a closet liberal, given the GOP’s performance during recent elections.

Newsmax reported on Sunday that MSNBC’s leader had torpedoed the idea of giving former Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel air time as an elections analyst.

That news emerged after NBC staffers, including its on-air reporting staff and commentators, had a meltdown following the leak that McDaniel would serve as a paid contributor “across all NBC News platforms,” including left-wing MSNBC.

Chuck Todd, NBC News’s chief political analyst, openly ripped his employer on Sunday, telling “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker that she and other staffers were owed an apology by “our bosses.”

“There’s a reason why there’s a lot of journalists at NBC News (are) uncomfortable with this because many of our professional dealings with the RNC over the last six years have been met with gaslighting,” Todd said.

Yes, the people who brought us, among countless others, the Russian-collusion hoax, the “very fine people” hoax, the Hunter Biden’s laptop is “Russian disinformation” hoax, and the more recent “bloodbath” hoax are saying McDaniel is the one doing the “gaslighting.”

Nonetheless, MSNBC viewers will be spared any insights from McDaniel and will have to be content getting their GOP analysis from the likes of Joe Scarborough, a former “Republican” who recently declared the stumbling, bumbling old man in the White House is the “best Biden” he’s ever seen.

As Newsmax reported, MSNBC President Rashida Jones “told staffers there were no plans to bring McDaniel aboard the channel, addressing worries of some anchors and producers about McDaniel’s ties to former President Donald Trump and the RNC’s role in his efforts to challenge the 2020 election results.”
