Capitol Riot Detainees Begging to be sent to Gitmo

Report: USCP Ignored Warnings Of Jan. 6 Violence, Front-Line Officers Told “No Specific Known Threat” Existed

Democrats and the liberal national media have spent nearly two years blaming former President Donald Trump for the Jan. 6, 2021, riot.

Democrats and the liberal national media have spent nearly two years blaming former President Donald Trump for the Jan. 6, 2021, riot.

But a new report in conservative media asks whether House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Democrats allowed the riot to occur.

The website JustTheNews.com reported Wednesday on documents, including a memo by a veteran U.S. Capitol Police intelligence officer to his senior leaders that indicated the USCP knew in advance that violence was possible on Jan. 6, and planned long in advance of former President Donald Trump’s speech that day.

The revelation is critical because Pelosi, as the leader of the House, is responsible for the USCP. And as JTN founder John Solomon reported Wednesday, days before Jan. 6 unrest, the House Democratic leadership rejected the offer of the Trump Pentagon to deploy National Guard troops to assist the USCP.

Bolstering the idea that it is Democrats, and not necessarily Trump, who deserve blame for the mayhem on Jan. 6, Solomon cited a memo sent three days after the riot to USCP leaders by intelligence analyst Eric Hoar.

“We analysts have been reporting for weeks that Patriot groups are commenting on social media their intentions to storm the U.S. Capitol with overwhelming numbers,” Hoar wrote. “I don’t know what was occurring behind the scenes, but I hope that information was briefed with the veracity it deserved, and not just a one-time Event Assessment.”

“The notion that valid intelligence is trumped by optics or political decisions is unacceptable and puts lives in danger,” he said. “This is a concept I’ve understood for a long time, and I know you are aware of this as well, and I hope its meaning is now OBVIOUS to ALL Officials, Commanders, and Stakeholders.”

In his email Hoar told senior leaders, “The purpose of this message is not to investigate blame, but to hopefully provide insight to help prevent another disaster.” He added, “I sincerely hope USCP Commanders have the fortitude to stand-up and LOUDLY convey the need for effective security posture, despite any optics or career repercussions. A meek commander is a worthless black hole.”

Solomon wrote, “Hoar’s assessment is directly backed up by hundreds of pages of internal Capitol Police documents obtained by Just the News showing Hoar and other colleagues in the intelligence division receiving detailed warnings from the FBI, Homeland Security Department, the U.S. Marshals Service and D.C. Metropolitan Police that right-wing extremists were plotting to storm the Capitol and attack lawmakers. The intelligence was processed and forwarded to department components starting on Dec. 21, 2020 up through Jan. 5, 2021, the day before the riots.”

Solomon noted that the intel shared with USCP included mentions of radicals getting into the tunnels beneath the Capitol, actually storming the building, cutting off the power grid to the Capitol, burning down the Supreme Court, and bringing shovels, nerve gas and weapons to the protest event.

“Despite all of the intelligence coming into Capitol Police, the department’s final instructions to its front line officers made no mention of the potential warnings,” Solomon noted.

“For instance, the department’s Jan. 5, 2021 final Civil Disturbance Units plan for crowd and riot control contained this inexplicable language about threat assessment: ‘At this time there are no specific known threats related to the Joint Session of Congress – Electoral College Vote Certification.’”

Back in February 2021, Trump told Fox News he offered those troops, and echoed the “optics” comment Hoar had made just days after the riot.

“We said to the Department of Defense, the top person, days before we had the rally … I requested … I definitely gave the number of 10,000 National Guardsmen. I think you should have 10,000 of the National Guard ready,” Trump recalled of that time.

“They took that number. From what I understand, they gave it to the people at the Capitol, which is controlled by Pelosi. And I heard they rejected it because they didn’t think it would look good. So, you know, that was a big mistake.”

In his JTN report, Solomon added, “As Democrats wrap up their Jan. 6 probe, House Republicans are planning to soon release a wealth of evidence they have gathered showing intelligence and planning failures by the police and the first evidence of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s contacts with the security apparatus leading up to the riots.”
