Republican Party Of Florida Tops $5.18 Million

According to a newly filed finance report, the Republican Party of Florida raised more than $5.18 million in the final three months of 2023 and spent $2.6 million.

According to a report posted on the state Division of Elections website, large contributions included $150,000 from a Florida Justice Association political committee, $100,000 from Friends of Ashley Moody, a political committee affiliated with Attorney General Ashley Moody, $100,000 from a Florida Realtors political committee, $100,000 from Publix Supermarkets, and $100,000 from Trulieve, Inc., the state’s largest medical marijuana company.

State candidates, political committees, and parties have until Wednesday to file reports detailing their financial activities from October 1 through December 31.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the Florida Democratic Party’s report for the period had yet to be posted on the state website.
