Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas shared his thoughts on the controversies surrounding President Joe Biden and his family. Despite referring to the Biden administration as a “crime operation,” Marshall expressed his reluctance to see the president impeached.

Stuart Varney, the host of the Fox Business Network segment, questioned Marshall about the potential outcome of a hypothetical match-up between Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the next elections.

“We’ve floated the idea. The situation is so bad for the president, with Hunter’s indictment and the possible impeachment coming up, that his close friends and associates and top Democrats would get together and go to him and say, ‘Now’s the moment, Mr. President, to step aside.’ You think that could happen?” Varney asked Marshall.

“I don’t think so,” Marshall answered. “I think the people that are controlling the puppet strings in the White House and his family like this power and control that they do, have. And, by the way, we want him to be the candidate, so let’s not push him out too soon here! We want Joe Biden on that ticket.”

“Trump beats Biden hands down?” Varney asked.

“Oh, gosh, I’m not a political scientist. I think he wins,” Marshall said of former President Donald Trump. “I think it will be close, that’s why we play the games.”

“His legal troubles going to get in the way?” Varney continued.

“You know, it’s interesting, that they just make more people emboldened to support him. Americans, at least Republicans, many Republicans, many moderates, feel like they’re not applying the law equally. And we still see that. You know, if any of us had done what Hunter Biden had done years ago, we’d be in jail.”

Senator Roger Marshall serves as a Republican senator from Kansas. He has gained recognition for his views on various political matters, including healthcare and agriculture.

Marshall’s opinions, as expressed in this interview, provide insights into the perspectives of some Republicans on the Biden administration and the controversies surrounding the president and his family.

The Indictment

Hunter Biden was indicted in California on nine tax charges, including three felonies and six misdemeanors.

These charges are in addition to the federal firearms charges he faced in Delaware, which alleged that he violated a law prohibiting drug users from possessing guns in 2018. Initially, he was expected to plead guilty to misdemeanor tax charges as part of a plea deal.

However, the agreement fell apart after a judge raised concerns about its validity and Republicans criticized it as a “sweetheart deal.”
