Reward Increases To $20K In Murder Of 14-Year-Old Jevario Buie In Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. – Crimestoppers of Tampa Bay, along with the ATF, the Florida Attorney General’s Office, and community partners, announced an increased reward of $20,000 for tips that lead to the identification and arrest of those who were involved in the homicide of 14-year-old Jevario Buie.

“We are committed to getting justice in the tragic death of Jevario Buie,” said Chief Lee Bercaw. “This was a senseless act that took a young life from our community far too soon. We know someone out there knows something, and you need to come forward, even anonymously.”

The Tampa Police Department also released a video that shows Jevario Buie with two individuals shortly before he was shot to death on Wednesday, April 17th, near the 1400 block of W. Busch Blvd.

The individuals seen in the video are considered persons of interest in this ongoing investigation.
