HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit-and-run in Ridge Manor after a 33-year-old man was found dead Saturday.
Troopers say a vehicle was traveling northbound on Tall Pines Drive, approaching Ridge Manor Blvd.
At the intersection, the driver failed to yield and collided with a Huffy motorized bicycle, killing the rider, a 33-year-old Ridge Manor man.

Troopers say the vehicle fled the scene, and a passing motorist discovered the victim at 4:40 am.
It is unknown what time the crash occurred, and troopers are seeking help from the public in this tragic crash.
