Riverview Man Killed After Losing Control Of Motorcycle, Striking Untity Pole On US-41

RIVERVIEW, Fla. - A 58-year-old Riverview man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle around 3:48 am on Monday.

RIVERVIEW, Fla. – A 58-year-old Riverview man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle around 3:48 am on Monday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling southbound on US-41, north of Old US-41, when the rider lost control of the motorcycle for an unknown reason and departed the roadway.

Once on the west shoulder, the rider struck a utility pole, was ejected from the motorcycle, and suffered fatal injuries.

The man was not wearing a helmet, according to troopers.
