RIVERVIEW, Fla. – A 17-year-old Riverview teen was killed in a crash that happened around 8:55 a.m. on Sunday.
A Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed on US-301.
Troopers say that at the intersection of Balm Riverview Road, the SUV turned left into the motorcycle’s path.
The teen motorcyclist collided with the SUV and suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the SUV, a 72-year-old Riverview man, suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for care.
