PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A 51-year-old Riverview woman was killed in a single-vehicular accident that happened around 9:13 am in Pasco County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol Troopers, the woman was traveling westbound on SR-54 in the outside lane, west of Henning Lane, when for an unknown reason lost control of the vehicle.
The 2015 Honda sedan traveled across the median and eastbound lanes of SR-54 before entering the south shoulder.
Once on the shoulder, the vehicle entered a pond and became completely submerged.
Troopers say the woman suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
