SARASOTA, Fla – The Sarasota Police Department, in partnership with the Deb Kabinoff Fund, the Sarasota Police Foundation, and UnidosNow, will gift 100 iPads to students at the 1500 North Orange Mobile Home Park on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 10 a.m.
Deb Kabinoff is donating all the funds through the Sarasota Police Foundation needed to purchase 100 new iPads and keyboards for students.
“These devices will support students on their learning journey to help remove barriers some youth in our community face in accessing essential educational tools outside of school,” said Chief Rex Troche. “This is an opportunity to help students work with technology to stay educated and engaged in the summer,” said Troche.
