PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Fernando Tapia & Kaylan Tapia-Gallegos were found and are safe, according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
Pasco Sheriff’s deputies were searching for Fernando Tapia, a missing 40-year-old, and Kaylani Tapia-Gallegos, Tapia’s 5-year-old daughter.
Both individuals were last seen around 9:20 a.m. on Dec. 18 in the Penguin Dr. area of Holiday.
Tapia is 5’8″, around 200 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Tapia was last seen wearing a red hoodie, beige sweatpants and black/white Nike sneakers.
Tapia may be driving a 2008 gray Dodge Durango with FL tag CC18XM.
Tapia-Gallegos is 4’8″, around 45 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
Tapia-Gallegos was last seen wearing beige leggings, a white t-shirt, a peach-colored jacket and gray sneakers. Tapia-Gallegos may be carrying a pink/purple backpack with Disney princesses and her name on it.
