Today is my sister and I’s birthday. We were born on the same day, three years apart. Growing up, we always hated having to share our birthdays.
Since we are grown, I just wanted to tell her, “ Sister, you are the best birthday gift I ever received. “ Happy Birthday!!! This cake recipe is especially for you because you love strawberry cake. I just wish I could be there to make it for you today.
Strawberries and Cream Cake
Ingredients
- 1 Box White Cake Mix
- 4 Eggs
- 1 Small Box Strawberry Jello
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 3 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1 Cup Oil
- 1 Cup Frozen Drained Strawberries
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together well and pour into greased baking pan. Bake according to package instructions. When done let it cool completely before applying the frosting.
Frosting
1-Can Strawberry Frosting
1- 8 oz Cool Whip
Beat ingredients together and frost cake when cooled.
