SPRING HILL, Fla. – A 72-year-old Spring Hill man has been arrested after a DUI crash into Florida Fish and Wildlife officers on Monday around 5:21 p.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet pickup was traveling northbound on US-19. When at the intersection of Breakwater Boulevard, turned left under a red traffic signal, and collided with the left side of a marked FWC truck. 

Both vehicles came to a stop within the intersection.

Troopers say the Spring Hioll man and the two FWC officers suffered minor injuries and were not transported from the crash scene. 

The driver of the Chevrolet pickup truck, identified as James Victor Cocchi, 72, of Spring Hill, was later arrested by FHP Troopers for DUI and provided a breath sample of 0.181.
