SPRING HILL, Fla. – A Spring Hill man is behind bars for the murder of a man discovered on Sunday in a Seven Hills home.
On Sunday at approximately 4:30 p.m., Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on Casa Grande Circle in Spring Hill, Seven Hills, to conduct a Well-Being Check.
The caller, a neighbor, believed something might be wrong, as there had been no activity at the residence since the previous day, deputies say.

Deputies arrived on the scene and made entry into the residence.
Deputies made their way through the residence to the master bedroom. Upon entering the room, deputies found obvious signs of a struggle and located a deceased body of an adult male.
Deputies then searched the remaining rooms in the home.
In a bedroom on the second floor, deputies discovered an adult male.
“Initially, the male did not respond to attempts at verbal communication. Fearing the male was also deceased, deputies approached to check his status. During this time, the male began communicating with deputies,” said HCSO.

The adult male, identified as Kristopher Amore, was placed in handcuffs and removed from the residence.
During an interview with detectives, 24-year-old Kristopher Charles Amore admitted to killing the victim as he was “tired of dealing with him.”
Amore was arrested and charged with 2nd-degree murder and is being held on no bond.
