PASCO COUNTY, Fla.- A 45-year-old Spring Hill man was killed in a crash that happened around 3:10 a.m. on Friday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Mercedes E-Class sedan, driven by a 45-year-old Spring Hill man, was traveling westbound on Akins Drive, east of Jayare Road.
Troopers say the driver lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason, departed the roadway, and collided with a fence, tree, and utility pole located at 16926 Akins Drive.

Transported to an area hospital, the driver later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
