This week, St. Petersburg Police detectives charged Tommy Stephens, 51, with two separate sexual assaults in St. Petersburg.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – This week, St. Petersburg Police detectives charged Tommy Stephens, 51, with two separate sexual assaults in St. Petersburg.

The cases occurred on April 18, 2022, and February 16th, 2023. Both cases involved adult women who were known to him.

Stephens is currently in jail, for the murder of Jona Waller.

He was arrested on March 24th. Since his arrest, SPPD Detectives developed probable cause to charge him with the two sexual assaults. His booking photo is attached.
