ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, located at 701 6th St. S, in St. Petersburg, will join other Orlando Health facilities and multiple central Florida hospitals in a full-scale emergency preparedness exercise from 8 am to noon.
The drill involves volunteers simulating injuries and showing up at central Florida hospitals for treatment.

The St. Petersburg hospital is the only facility in Tampa Bay participating in today’s exercise since it is part of the Orlando Health System.
The goal of the drill is to promote preparedness for a catastrophic incident if it were to happen.
