St. Petersburg Man Killed In Crash On Gandy Blvd.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A 58-year-old St. Petersburg man was killed in a crash that happened around 9:49 am on Monday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say a Ford F150, driven by a 43-year-old St. Petersburg man, was traveling eastbound on Gandy Boulevard.

At the driveway access to 12025 Gandy Boulevard, a Ford Mustang driven by an 18-year-old Brandon man turned left into the path of the pickup truck and was struck.

The drivers were not injured during the incident; however, troopers say an unrestrained passenger in the pickup truck, a 58-year-old St. Petersburg man, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
