St. Petersburg Woman Killed In Crash On 22nd Ave North Overnight

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - A 57-year-old St. Petersburg woman died in a crash overnight after losing control of her car and striking a tree.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A 57-year-old St. Petersburg woman died in a crash overnight after losing control of her car and striking a tree.

According to police at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, a silver 2024 Chevrolet Camaro driven by 57-year-old Jamie Lynn Cobb of St Petersburg, FL., was traveling east on 22nd Avenue North.

For an unknown reason, Cobb drove off the south side of the roadway in the 7600 block of 22nd Avenue North and struck a tree with the front of her vehicle.

Cobb was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics. Cobb was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and no other vehicles were involved. The investigation is ongoing.
