Tampa Man Killed In Gibsonton Motorcycle Crash

GIBSONTON, Fla. – A 29-year-old Tampa man was killed in a crash that happened around 12:00 pm on Sunday in Gibsonton.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Nissan Frontier was traveling on the exit ramp from northbound I-75 to enter westbound Gibsonton Drive. 

Troopers say the Nissan failed to yield to a motorcycle and attempted a left turn into the path of the bike, which struck the Nissan.

The motorcyclist, a 29-year-old Tampa man, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. 

The driver of the Nissan, a 59-year-old Gibsonton woman, suffered minor injuries during the incident.
