TAMPA, Fla. – A Tampa man has died in a crash that happened around 9:30 pm on Saturday on the Semon Expressway.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Ducati motorcycle was traveling westbound on the Selmon Expressway, east of Bay to Bay Boulevard, when the rider lost control at high speed.
Troopers say the motorcyclist departed the roadway, entered the north shoulder, and collided with a chain link fence.
The rider, a 28-year-old Tampa man, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
