Tampa Police Arrest 21-Year-Old Man In Rodeway Inn Shooting Death

TAMPA, Fla. – A 21-year-old Tampa man has been arrested in the shooting death that happened at the Rodeway Inn in Tampa.

Police say at approximately 11:30 PM, on April 19th, the Tampa Police Department received a 911 call for a person who had been shot and appeared deceased at the Rodeway Inn located at 2904 Melburne Blvd.

Upon arrival to the crime scene, officers located the victim deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Detectives began an investigation and met with witnesses to the shooting of the victim.

Three witnesses observed the defendant armed with two weapons prior to the shooting. One of the witnesses was present during the shooting and identified the defendant as the person who shot the victim.

All witnesses stated that the shooting was unprovoked and that there were no arguments or disagreements amongst any of the occupants of the hotel room.

A search of the defendant’s apartment revealed a handgun of the same caliber as the casing left at the homicide scene.

The suspect, Kyle Robinson Bradshaw, 21, was arrested and charged.
