TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened at N. Florida Ave. and W. Yukon St.
According to police, on Wednesday at 6:00 am, officers responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic crash at N. Florida Ave./W. Yukon St.
The pedestrian, an adult female, was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the vehicle and driver involved in the crash remained at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
N. Florida Ave./W. Yukon St. was closed because of this incident but has since reopened.
