TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are investigating a suspicious death after a woman was found dead on Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, on Tuesday, at approximately 2:15 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of W. Cypress St. about a deceased person.
The victim, an adult black female, was found with upper body trauma and pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives are diligently working to determine what led to the incident.
