TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa Police are investigating an early morning homicide and need tips from the public after a man was discovered shot and killed Friday.

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are investigating an early morning homicide and need tips from the public after a man was discovered shot and killed Friday.

On Friday, at approximately 5:46 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of W Lemon St in reference to an ‘unresponsive subject.’

When police arrived on the scene, they found an adult male with a fatal gunshot wound.

Detectives are diligently working to identify what led to the incident.
