Tampa Police: Suspect Sought After Stealing, Using Credit Card From Victim’s Mailbox

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police detectives are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect who fraudulently used a credit card after stealing it from a victim’s mailbox.

The suspect was captured on surveillance footage and is a bald white male with facial hair.

To avoid becoming a victim of a similar crime, the Tampa Police Department encourages the community to vigilantly monitor their credit and debit card transactions, as well as register for Informed Delivery through the United States Postal Service.

Through Informed Delivery registration and vigilant monitoring of credit and debit card transactions, residents can reduce the opportunity of becoming a victim of a similar crime.
