TAMPA, Fla. – Due to heavy overnight rains, Bayshore Blvd. from Platt Street to Bay to Bay Blvd. and adjoining side streets have flooded.
Police say the Courtney Campbell Causeway at Rocky Point Blvd. has standing water as well.
Police units and Department of Public Works employees are responding to close the flooded roadways now and will be blocking roadways with barricades and police vehicles.
Please avoid low-lying areas until the flooding subsides.
